RELEASED APRIL 1
Our expectation is that Summer Camp (Cromwell) and Summer Group Lessons will be held as scheduled but that is also contingent on COVID-19 safety guidelines (full refunds to be issued if we do not hold session). Here are several important dates going forward:
April 6 Summer Camp (Cromwell) registration opens online @ 9 am; 7 weeks
June 1 Summer Group Lessons registration opens online @ 9 am
June 30 First week of Summer Camp (Cromwell)
July 6-July 12 First week of Summer Session Group Lessons
Our hope is that we will have some ability to host golf opportunities at the Learning Links in Cromwell and some of our other sites in late May or June (subject to aforementioned caveats) so please look for future communications and check our website. Also, stay in touch with us via social media and the website, for online & virtual learning opportunities and suggestions on how to stay in golf shape.
When we resume be assured that we will stay in close contact with local, state and national Departments of Health to determine local risk and plans to help prevent the spread of this illness. Our chapter will follow all restrictions and hygiene precautions from the CDC and U.S. Department of State and may make adjustments to program activities as warranted. We will also monitor what local school districts, park departments and other youth service agencies are communicating and planning.
We greatly appreciate your support of our organization and thank you for patience and understanding as we navigate through these challenging times. One of our favorite Core Values at First Tee is perseverance: this season is as good a test of that as anything. Stay safe and healthy; practice social distancing and we hope to see you all in the near future.
registration for SUMMer CAMP (Cromwell) will begin on Monday, april 6 at 9:00 a.m.
