First Tee – Connecticut offers several programs during the off-season (January – March) for participants to continue their journey with the program or to introduce new participants to the program.
All programs are hosted at the David & Geri Epstein Learning Center in Cromwell unless otherwise noted.

Golf Around the World
Enjoy the opportunity to play golf while there’s snow on the ground with First Tee – Connecticut’s TrackMan 4 simulator. Participants may reserve starting times in 2 hour blocks with family members and play at some of the finest courses in the world!
Open to all active (registered for at least one 2020 program) participants.
Simulator starting times are available to ALL participants and their families
2021 Simulator Schedule

Small Group Swing Classes
During the months of January, February and March, Par, Birdie and Eagle Level participants will have the opportunity to register for multiple day programs with Coach Lindsey on weeknights and Coach Warren on Saturdays, to work on golf fundamentals.
Coach Lindsey Hansen (Coach in Cromwell & Waterbury, 2000 CT PGA Golf Professional of the Year and 2019 CT PGA Hall of Fame inductee) and Coach Warren Beardow (USGTF golf teaching professional), both long time First Tee lead coaches, will lead small group sessions (class size of three) that focus on swing fundamentals. Each program will include three, hour-long sessions utilizing hitting nets and the TrackMan 4 simulator in the David & Geri Epstein Learning Center in Cromwell. These sessions are intended for participants who have reached the Par Level, are at least 9 years old and aspire to take their game to the next level. The registration fee of $50 will include attendance in three sessions.
Registration will be available prior to each program on a first-come, first-served basis through our online registration process.
2021 Group Lesson Schedule
In the event of a cancelled session a make-up session may be scheduled at the regularly scheduled time the week immediately following the 3rd scheduled session.
During the winter months The First Tee of Connecticut will partner with schools across the state to introduce the game of golf and its inherent Core Values to young people through physical education classes at nearly 160 schools through the National School Program and In-School Program.
